Top 10 reading experiences I'm completely normal about. Upon reflection, I do think that this book struggles to find the fine balance between the necessity of violence for change and the flaws a very radicalized way of thinking might have IF what you want is to kill the oppressors before thinking about helping the oppressed.

Revolution based on tearing everything down and letting it sort itself, blank slates, a new beginning - does that destroy more than what it allows to be created? Maybe it's not supposed to be optimistic, but then, why call it the necessity of violence? To do what? Hurt, and then die? I dont know.

That aside it was a wonderful book, incredibly well written and thought out.
