Recipe for Love by Anne Malcom

Did not finish book. Stopped at 71%.
ok so this book is the very very opposite of slow burn. it’s like they’ve never spoken and the very next day after they talk he’s forcing himself to stay in her house (like a protecting thing but like boy who even are u you’ve said less than 2 times). very fast. it’s not that it’s horrible it’s just that like they know nothing of each other but are acting like they’re ready to sacrifice everything for one another (like they don’t even know anything other than when they see each other passing by every day). it kinda cringed me out. that’s not the reason i didn’t finish the book but definitely something that was so weird to me the whole book. (keep in mind that i do love love love a SLOWWWburn so for them to be like in LOVE (and not even like crushing) within the first 50 pages is like what is going on (feels like throwing the plot out the window). but i do love a blue collar guy with a bakery owner so that is like one of the only good parts of the plot.
