I simply love them with all my heart.
I love Scott Lynch's mind, how he comes up with this stories, everything well planed, nothing left behind, everything has its own role to play. The author elaborates these stories and characters so well, it's fantastic, seriously. Their development is so good, I am amazed. Even though this book had a lot of nautical terms that didn't demotivate me from reading it. Although I have to admit that the long chapters did put me off a bit, but that's my personal taste, I don't like long chapters. What else can I say? I don't know, I'm completely biased at the moment. I have to say this though: I believe Scott Lynch is quite underrated and truly deserves more attention and praise. These characters deserve tons of love.
Usually I don't want to read the following books right away just because I need a break from that world. But with this one? I so want to dive right into the third book. There's only two things posing an obstacle to that: 1. I have to work and 2. the series is still on going, so I would have to wait a lot for the rest to come out.
