I loved this book.I thought all of the characters were wonderful and so much fun to read about. This book did not help with my contained wanderlust from spending so much time at home, but I loved reading and living through Poppy and Alex and their very entertaining travels. I really appreciated the wide range of emotions felt throughout this book. The happy memories of Poppy and Alex’s previous travels contrasted really nicely with Poppy looking at Alex after not seeing him for a long time and realizing all that had changed in her absence.
The only thing I wish would’ve happened in this book was a bit more time with Poppy and Alex together as a couple, I appreciate a slow burn as much as the next person but also wish we could’ve seen them settle in more as a couple and form their lives around each other.
If you are looking for a book full of pining and slow burn friends to lovers, this is absolutely the book for you.
