Outline by Rachel Cusk

3.0

more of a 3.5.

stylistically, i really enjoyed ‘outline’ as rachel cusk’s writing reminds me of sally rooney in her tasteful simplicity.

yet i couldn’t help but find this a little repetitive. the book is not overly plot-driven, which i actually quite like, yet after a while the characters, as well as the conversations which drive the book, seem to blur into one. the most interesting segments were the ones that revisited a character, such as the old man on the plane, as we were able to learn more about him rather than starting from scratch with another one.
