A heartbreaking memoir on reconciling with traumatic and abusive past, but beautifully written that it made me teared up a couple of times. I had to pause reading this book for a lot of times because of the book's heavy themes that somehow resonate with my relationship with my grandmother. Not gonna lie, this perhaps is one of my favourite memoirs that I've written. I love Alan Davies— can't wait to read more of his future works!
Graphic: Child abuse, Pedophilia, Sexual assault, and Death of parent
Moderate: Homophobia
