Read and loved this book as a kid. It's been a while.

It feels slightly unfinished, like Harrah wrote a draft but lost the last couple chapters. Still charming, though Annie feels a little more naive than she ought to be at that age. Can't help comparing it to Honey Girl and I think the latter is the better of the two books.
