I loved this book. In comparison to other YA books abiut disability, this one felt well researched, considerate, and saw the main character as an individual.
I would highly recommend this for young people. It does feel from 90s/00s with the references, but the characters are strong and Zephaniah understands how children interact and teenagers behave with one another.

Minor: Ableism
Very brief ableism to one character from young children. The character is supported when he tells someone what happened.
