The Seven Year Slip follows Clementine who has a job in publishing she loves and has recently inherited an apartment form her aunt who has passed. What she forgot was that her aunt had told her the apartment was magical and when she finds herself slipping back seven years in the past, she finds herself face to face with a man that she had never met before who was staying in the apartment at that time. As she meets him in the present time line and continues to go back to the past, she finds herself falling for him.
I thought the concept of this was so intriguing and I am so glad that I was gifted this book for my birthday. Ashley Poston handled the themes in this book so deftly and managed to weave a beautiful love story within this book. I really loved Clementine as a main character and thought the relationship was so well done. I loved seeing them getting closer as this book went on and the way they grew to know each other in the past and the present.
I gave this 4.5 stars because I didn't absolutely love this book and it did take some time for me to get into it. However, I am so glad that I read it because I really enjoyed this book.
If the premise sounds intriguing to you, I would pick it up because it is worth the read.
