I'm Watching You by Mary Burton

3.0

Overall a compelling read. I thought the plot line was fantastic, not only is it interesting but it also raises domestic abuse awareness. Zack is a likable character, he's a good cop and he accepts his faults. I wish we'd gotten more details about his undercover work just to better understand his struggles and the failed marriage. Lindsey is a strong woman who dedicates her life to helping others as a way to escape her dark past, while a noble cause, I also find it flawed. She pushes others to move on with their lives yet she holds on to her past and let's it affect her present life.

The book certainly has triggers. Rape, physical and emotional abuse.
