Well, that's not what I expected to have happen. 

The first page draws you right in to this VERY deranged, messed up world that Abigail and Grant live in. I don't even know where to start. Abigail gets brought into this world unknowingly and then unfortunately it's a classic story of Stockholm syndrome when she's coerced into falling for the man that's holding her captive. We see murder and mayhem come to life in this novel and we see questionable (at best) ethics by people in positions of power and authority. By the end of the book, we're left saying "what in the hello did we just read?!" AND we're left with a MASSIVE cliffhanger! Definitely can't wait for the next book in the series! Great work, yet again JL Quick. Thanks for the opportunity to read this one!
