Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs

1.75

So after reading the first book, I promptly read this one, too. I said I would only read more after this if there was another woman of substance written (as in, a major character who's fully developed and not the antagonist).
Well, I didn't find her. Mercy is making tentative strides towards tolerance towards another woman (werewolf) but otherwise it's still Mercy & a bunch of (mostly) assholes.
On top of that, the love triangle is much more prominent in this book (although still no sex or real romance - a couple of dates and a couple of kisses, and not with the same person).
I just can't read the ONLY decent female character be so wishy-washy about what she wants (and she's like 30, she should do better).
