Mors irrumat omniaaaaa bitch.

I loved this even more the second time. Alex is a baddie and I’m so excited to read Hell Bent now that this story is fresh in my brain — also reading it for the second time, I was able to pick up on so many things I just did NOT get the first time I read this (because I have a tiny little squirrel brain).

Bardugo put an insane amount of work into the world building and magic system in this book.

We already know I worship the ground she walks on, but this book was genuinely so goddamn good and unique and FUN to read. I love her and her mind and the characters she births!!!!!
