A masterpiece of a book. All the subtle hints, the setup, the characters. This book is what makes ASOIAF... well truly ASOIAF, for me. This book has probably one of the greatest monologues in fantasy, with Septon Meribald's "Broken Men" monologue (it's not THE best, because the BEST monologue in fantasy imo, is in the following book). This book gives us Cersei's POV chapters which are the most entertaining POVs in the whole series.
