This is the best non-ACD Holmes story I've ever read. Like, I'm actually at a loss for words. And this is a debut?? Someone must've caught lightning in a bottle, because this book is perfection. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would be thrilled to see how Lyndsay Faye has handled these precious characters. I can't recommend this book enough.
