I’m conflicted about this one, leaving me feeling more “meh” about it overall. The storyline was captivating enough to hold my attention (although it didn’t really pick up for me until the second half) and there were some characters I really loved.
However, the writing style goes beyond holding the reader’s hand throughout the process. A lot of the story direction was quite predictable. Reading from the perspective of a “girlboss” was a bit annoying, as well.
