A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
3.0
3.5⭐️. I thought this was an interesting who-dunnit that had some good twists and kept me guessing until the very end. I had no clue who the killer was going to be until the very end, which I really liked.
I did find it quite unrealistic that a 17-18 year old teenager with no authority whatsoever was able to get as many people as she did to talk to her even when they didn’t want to. Like the drug dealer just deciding to talk after being shown the blackmail pictures? Getting Max to divulge as much as he did? And Mr. Ward just spilling everything when Pip went to that house ALONE? I mean, she had dirt on them all, but still, you wouldn’t expect adult (criminal) men to just give up that much information to a teenage girl. The number of times when either she or her and Ravi were alone with dangerous people and realistically should have gotten their asses kicked or killed, or had themselves forcibly removed, but didn’t, was staggering. But I guess there wouldn’t have been much of a book if she would have been shut down by everyone she tried to talk to like she probably would have in real life
