Motherhood by Sheila Heti

the story of a 39 year old woman learning how to take antidepressants... lol
but really this book is magical and i am fully INTO autofiction now. i don't know what it says about me that i've been relating heavily to autofiction by women in their late 30s (i am 24! 24!!!). there's a line about the metamorphosis between caterpillar and butterfly, wherein the creature is just "mush," that i really loved. there were lots of lines i loved.
great if you want to be a mom or don't want to be a mom or have mommy issues or literally just think about being a woman ever.
