This book's plot really drags, and its ensemble cast has several characters who are really annoying teenagers. Wouldn't recommend for the sci-fi because it is paper thin and doesn't do much for the story, which is all about grief and loss. The writing doesn't have the humor and charm of all of Emily Henry's other books. Just a bunch of neglected and traumatized kids being neglected and traumatized without much resolution at the end.
