As a great House of Leaves fan, I enjoyed the suspense that this book had over the mysteries this place the characters are staying in brought and the way their perspectives were altered by this very place, and of course, the thing in the snow. I felt like so much could have been done, but the whole book fell flat just as I thought things were gonna get really interesting, the book was cut short by a discouraging end. Could be great for a sequel, or perhaps we are supposed to left forever pondering on everything that happened. Anywho... I was really enjoying this book, but the last bit of it left much to be desired for me. Super quick read, though, so check it out nonetheless.
