You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks, Sarah Pekkanen

4.0

I zoomed through the audiobook version [thanks, @libby !] of this dual-author suspense novel. You Are Not Alone follows jobless, friendless, and soon to be houseless Shay Miller as she re-evaluates her life after witnessing a young woman die by suicide (and subway car). Shay crosses paths with sisters Cassandra and Jane- women who are everything and have everything Shay could dream of. Joining their circle of friends brings Shay immediate access to an exclusive echelon of society, but -shocker- things aren't exactly what they appear to be on the surface, they're much more sinister.

I'd say that while the twists were only decent, the pacing of Hendricks' and Pekkanen's writing makes this a fun and engaging read. I'm a sucker for any book that lets me pretend that I'm a rich woman while I read PLUS I got to take another book of my physical TBR shelf! Lightly predictable, but definitely recommend! 4☆
