A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

This book is everything I had hoped for, the first book really built up well to the ultimate reveal about Feyre's relationships.
Feyre showed her humanity, her compassion when we see her break over and over again because of everything she's been through during Amarantha's trials and we see her struggle to come to terms with everything that happened.
The natural breakdown of her relationship with Tamlin was well explained, we get to see everything from his inability to understand her and him unable to manage his instincts around her which is a stark contrast to her next relationship.
Rhys was everything I hoped for. He is smart, cunning and strong; everything you expect out of a male lead but he is also kind, generous and loving which is highlighted in his interactions with Mor, Azriel, Cassian and Amren but mainly with Feyre.
He understands her, despite having gone through the same things as Tamlin, only much much worse, he still understands and tries to help her with her trauma.
I loved it!
