i enjoyed the storyline even if it was really frustrating, the way she started with a snippet from the end and then jumped back and started the story kept it intriguing. the plot points were pretty predictable but i liked the main characters. their childhood memories were cute. i also like how the author made autumn an unreliable narrator, it added more unsureness cause i was never sure she was absolutely correct. the whole book i was skeptical and dreading the ending, hoping it would be different than what i thought it was going to be.
but still when it said finny died my heart ached 😭
i could have done without all the sex innuendos and iffy scenes throughout the book, it was not necessary to the plot. it was an entertaining read and now that i am depressed i need to go find a happy book.
