I couldn’t possibly rate someone’s life experience. Marina is most definitely a “tortured artist”. While at times I felt like her thoughts were too dark for me to listen to… I couldn’t stop. She has a profound voice.

Graphic: Child abuse, Cursing, Suicidal thoughts, Violence, Blood, and Abortion
Marina is suicidal from a young age, and those thoughts continue throughout the book and is seen often in her art. Especially the performance pieces involving the general public.
