Reread this manga recently. I must say, this memoir is one I am very fond of.
I can personally relate to a lot of Nagata Kabi’s feelings towards gender expression and perception. Not truly seeing yourself as a woman/ wanting to be seen as yourself (a full person). It really resonated with me.
I love how vulnerable and gruelling it is, detailing especially the ugly parts of mental illness and eating disorder.
I appreciate the message of learning to live for yourself and take care of yourself despite your previous struggles.
I truly hope the best for our Nagata-sensei!
