Girls on the Verge by Sharon Biggs Waller

4.0

Camille, an aspiring actress, is excited to spend her summer at a prestigious drama camp. But when she finds out she is pregnant, she is horrified. Together with her best friend Bea (whose family is pro-life) and Annabelle (a new friend who is pro-choice), they make the trek from Texas to New Mexico.

An emotional and realistic depiction of what some women face when getting an abortion. Very powerful testament to the important of friendships in difficult situations. I think that the information provided was well-researched, but it was not heavy-handed.
