Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

Sooo my bad but I did not realize that this was the 3rd and last of a series. I read the description and requested it because I love any and all sapphic love stories. However, there was definitely a lot of background that I was missing in order to fully understand and appreciate this book.

All that being said, I did absolutely adore this story and these characters. The exploration of mental health and the roles we’re born into was done really well. The connection between our two main characters - Tara and Holly - felt so raw and real.

I do wish I had looked into the book more before I read it so I could have read the other two books first. As I mentioned above, I did feel like I was missing a lot of info. While this was ultimately my fault, it did have an effect on my overall enjoyment of the book.

The story is great and I’m sure having read the others in the series it would be a beautiful conclusion to the Carrigans series.
