The Governess and the Orc by Finley Fenn

4.0

The angst!! The betrayal!! The copious amounts of fluid!! I liked Rathgarr a bit less than the other orc heroes, probably because I knew more about his past
Spoilerthe part about him targeting single women to threaten or proposition to acquire wealth before he did it to Geva gave me the ick
and then that he didn't grovel as much to make up for his behavior. Still, hurt people hurt people (truly the tagline of these stories), and I was happy with Rath and Geva's dynamic by the end. I adored Geva, the stern schoolteacher and just what Orc Mountain needed!
