a perfurmer turned serial killer only for girls' scent. in the most unhinged moment of the book, i thought that his execution day would be memorable for a monster like him but my jaw was DROPPED with the sudden revelation, still couldnt believe that WTF and disgusting moment. it almost like the main character put the masks for all the ppl who sees him that day. this is kinda relevant with the theme of 'glorifying serial killers' which i truly hate. but nevertheless he died in a very inhuman and somehow discontent way though. süskind's storytelling is amazing

still cant believe this fkin passage... the rest of them are just... worse... and EWWWW! i feel so disgusted, like genuinely :')

"the result was that the scheduled execution of one of the most abominable criminals of the age degenerated into the largest orgy the world had seen since the second century before Christ. "
