On the Road by Jack Kerouac

3.0

*2.5
One time when I was sitting in on a radio show a kid wanted to tell a crazy story about the time he did psychedelics, believe it or not the story was not crazy or interesting, but it went on for about 15 minutes (wayyyy to long). This is exactly what reading On the Road felt like - Sal Paradise's crazyyyy friend Dean Moriarty drinks all the time and hooks up with soooo many girls while they make numerous trips across the US. Believe it or not, nothing about this was crazy or interesting and I did not need 293 pages of it.

Granted, I did really enjoy when they went to Mexico and I did honestly like Jack Keouac's writing style
