Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

4.0

Rebecca, or Becky or Bex, has lots of pluck. She also has a bit of an issue with her personal finances, which is incredibly ironic considering her job as a journalist for a finance magazine. Amidst Becky's dodging of her credit card company, she's piling up more and more debt, as well as a few (or more) lies. Also included in the story are some rather fine men, some British lingo, and quite a bit of shopping. All of Becky's antics are marvelously funny as she gets herself stuck in deeper and deeper. This story is really sweet and a rather perfect light read. It is also marvelous for getting in the mood to do some last minute shopping for the holidays!
