Savage Appetites: Four True Stories of Women, Crime, and Obsession by Rachel Monroe

challenging dark informative reflective medium-paced

0.5

This is the worst book I've read this year. It was so biased and self-centered, with attempts to sound empathetic but failing at it. I need to scrub this from my memory.
I cannot even tell you how much I loathed this book. At the middle of it, I was just hate reading it.
The writing tried to be good, but was in the lower end of mid.
I couldn't find any redeeming qualities for this.
The title is misleading. It should be "I don't watch true crime any more because I'm a more evolve and condescending person. Read my internal monologue."
I'm not even going to post this on goodread because this author seems like the one to respond.
This is going to mess up with my 4.1 star rating for this year, but I couldn't bring myself to give it even 1 star
