If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch

5.0

This book made me cry, so I automatically give five stars. Are there issues with how the social services system works in this book? Yes. Do I care? Not a single bit. The book isn't about the social service process, it's about learning that good things can happen. It's about feeling crappy and good at the same time and knowing that's okay. It's about growing up and forgiving your mistakes and accepting love and kindness after abuse and neglect. This book is about families and sibling bonds. Most of all, it's about how even in the worst of times, we still hold on to hope.
