Sitting between 3.5 and 4 stars.
The reveals and storyline are REALLY GOOD. In fact, it deeply reminds me of thethrone of glass series which like, LOVEEEEE. The buddy read experience with Mel and Jennie really just add to the experience!
The writing though…while not bad, it definitely is NOT holding my attention. I’m finding my brain wandering heavily and having to reread full pages, hence the pull to a 3.5 star read.
B/c I am binging these, I’m leaving personal notes to denote where the books ends. Lorian revealing himself as the fae prince who killed her family and creating a vow to make her separate from the rebellion.
