What's Left of Me by Hannah Bird

Hannah Bird is one of my favorite authors (and she’s only released 2 books!) I have never been so thoroughly wrecked by a book like I have with Hannah’s debut novel, The End and Then, and it’s sequel, What’s Left of Me!
I was so excited to travel back to Loveless, CO and dive into Zoey and Aaron’s story!
I love Zoey’s character so much. I found myself getting frustrated with her so many times early on in the book, but for anyone who has dealt with trauma like her’s, you know that everything Zoey does, thinks, and feels is so realistic for someone who has been through that kind of trauma. Her character is portrayed so perfectly. You can’t help but feel everything that Zo is feeling. Just like with The End and Then, I had to stop reading to catch my breath between sobs.
AARON FREAKIN’ MOORE!! Aaron is absolutely A M A Z I N G!! He is so kind and patient and just so so good. (Pretty much all the fruits of the Spirit.
