Good for someone else
I still can't get past the writing style of this series, so I'm giving up here. It's just not my type of humour and it just fell flat. In fact all of this fell flat for me; the characters, the banter, the plot, the magic, the ridiculousness. It wasn't bad, it just really didn't work for me.
