Did not finish book. Stopped at 69%.

This book has been highly requested at my library so when it finally became available, I thought it would be a slam dunk… it wasn’t 😩. I struggled to get into it, to connect with the characters, the first half was quite slow, I thought it got better once they were on the run, but then the flashbacks took me out again 🤷🏻‍♀️ 

Seemed like a cool concept but it didn’t work out for me…
