It is definitely a coming of age book and is a classic or at least that’s what I was told. This book is 100% aimed at pre-teen and teenage girls. However I felt  the author did not do a good job with the ending especially since there is not a second to read. The ending in my opinion left many lose ends and me wondering what would happen in the future. I also found this book a bit too much about religion and I wish it focused more on growing up as a pre-teen and teenage girl because that was spot on. Not necessarily relatable to me but definitely interesting and informative to read about. Probably won’t read again for at least a long time but it is short so give it a go!
