I’m clearly (and honestly, understandably) in the minority here; but I really liked this, and I didn’t think it was slow at all. I thought there was enough intrigue to keep me hooked, and hints were revealed very slowly in a way that allowed me to make my own guesses. It was fun to see it all unfold slowly. I did struggle through the first few chapters, but once Feyre got to the Court I was good.
The only minor thing I could not bear:the riddle was so painfully obvious that I was internally screaming the answer for the entire third act.
But it was really a fun read otherwise.
