As a person living with anxiety, I empathized with the main character in Living with Viola. Viola was the character’s name for her anxiety.

Her anxiety, Viola, was controlling her and she struggled to cope with her anxiety, whom she named Viola.

Living with Viola was about becoming your own person and trying to deal with anxiety, especially if you have a severe case like the main character did.

I empathized with her in her case because I have severe anxiety too and I deal with mine through relaxation, medication, and arts and crafts.
