Even for a children's book, this short story is boring. The simplistic writing could have been used to tell numerous lessons in an easy-to-read and enjoyable way, but instead all that's told is a bland story with an abrupt ending. The art is a nice accompaniment to the text, and the shift between colours and dark shades is pleasant. Overall, it's a boring book, even for very young readers. It should have been longer; kids can handle that.
