Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams

4.0

I never read this, because the "Complete" edition I own is not complete, as it says "triology in four parts". So when I recently, after re-reding the four parts on my shelf, complained about this to my sibling, they brought me their copy which includes part 5.
Oh, and what a joy it was! It was so nice to read an Adams novel for the first time! The absurdity, the sheer amount of imagination, everything. I felt just like I did when I first read The Hitchhikers Guide as a small thirteen-year-old.

Although I have to say, this one was the weakest in the series. It has some lenghts, it goes into meta explanations at some points which were just ... to much. I probably would have given it more of a three-star review, but my experiece reading it was so enjoyable, mostly for nostalgic reasons, so it couldn't be less that 4 stars from me.
