Does this book follow so many tropes? Yes. But the writing and love between the gals made it, no pun intended, magical instead of bland. As Breanne Randall says on the back of my copy: "A tale that deserves to be savored but begs to be devoured." - That is exactly how I felt burning through this book in 36 hours. It also subverted my belief that I do not like the romance genre, and instead, just have not found the right books.
