I truly enjoyed this story. It’s a good start to the series. The hero and heroine are strong, well-developed characters. Their romance is fun and entertaining. I enjoyed watching Bray deal with falling in love, when he doesn’t believe in the feel or know what it is. Louisa is all about family – taking care of her younger sisters and Bray has no experience as an only child of only children.
The secondary characters, including the children, add spice and intrigue to the story. The children are sweet and their interactions with Bray are sweeter and sweeter. This story has all the feels, from grieving siblings, to laughing moments to tender moments. I hope that we get to see more of Bray and Louisa a the series moves on.
