Solid 4.5 stars!

Pros: Super interesting magic system, love the crows, big fan of the main character Thia and I stan Ericen.

Cons: not a fan of Caylus (boring tbh), I felt like the romance was a bit rushed/forced (seemingly happened overnight and that annoys me)
