Quite enjoyed this! Sometimes the humor undercut itself too much - an interesting or moving moment was lost because of an easy or crude joke, for example.
The action is exciting and interesting, the moments engaging and don’t stay too long, but long enough to stay interesting. I also quite liked the characters, each of them unique and interesting. A few of them get lost toward the end, as it begins and ends with a focus on Clay and Gabe.
The ending lost me the most, unfortunately. It felt like a lot of the major consequences that came about during a climax were sorta hand-waved away to be fixed. It doesn’t spoil the whole journey, thankfully
