** 4.9 stars. Only reason this isn’t a true 5 star is because it was a little obvious that Ali Hazelwood has never actually lived in Boston. There were moments that pulled me out of the story (calling the T stop a subway station or when she referenced specific neighborhoods with inaccurate or not realistic descriptions), but that’s probably just a me thing as someone who lives here.  But all in all this was SO good. Proved once again why Ali Hazelwood is an autobuy author for me. She depicts ace-spec characters as romantic leads so well and the spice felt grounded in respect to her characters sexuality. Jack's character development was so well done and 3 dimensional -- this was a true, grounded in reality enemies-to-lovers!  I love the STEM focus as well, never dumbing it down for the reader while staying approachable. It was laugh out loud funny while also showing immense character growth. By far my favorite book that she’s written. Also loved the cameos of Olive and Adam, and references to Bee! I selfishly want a sequel or novella of everyone together (maybe at Olive and Adam’s reception?)
