Twelve Days by Isabelle Rowan

This book was a visit with John, David and their friend Jamie a year after we left them starting new lives.
John and David are still together and in love and Jamie is still trying to find it
It is twelve days before Christmas and David's old clouds come to darken his life. He is in a good place, but sometimes darkness comes despite all the good and bright things.
John is patient and loving and gives David the space to come back to him. I absolutely loved the first book in this series Notes in the Margin, largely for how it dealt with mental illness and how it affects people and their families. This was there this time as well.
This was a lot more sedate and more like a snapshot of where these two men are. In love and finding ways to be good to each other.
Definitely worth reading of you've read #1.
