Home Detox: Make Your Home a Healthier Place for Everyone Who Lives There by Daniella Chace
3.0
This book has lots of great advice about eliminating common toxic chemicals from your household. I would recommend this to people who are dealing with mystery health concerns or just generally worried about the impact of chemicals, and this book offers more scientific explanations than many similar ones.
However, the author really should have acknowledged how incredibly cost-prohibitive it is to buy safe items and replace what you already have in so many rooms of the house. The book comes from a perfectionist mindset where you're trying to be as perfectly clean as possible, and I wish that the author had encouraged people to do whatever is feasible for them, since baby steps over time or some limited changes are way better than doing nothing because you feel overwhelmed.
