the definition of check on your strong friends. gibsie has been dealt terrible cards, and i honestly feel for him, however, i feel like this book was more focused on lizzie and gibsie’s complicated friendship than anything else. don’t get me wrong, i feel for lizzie and i can’t wait for her books, but i just wanted MORE from gibsie and claire, and i’m hoping healing 7 gives me just that. i still really enjoyed this book, and i have a strong feeling that however i feel about healing 7 may or may not up my rating for this one.
